Kathua, 03 March: Today, a piping ceremony was held at DPO Kathua for 10 recently promoted Sub-Inspectors: Sub Insp. Jia Lal, Sub Insp. Rahim Din, Sub Insp. Bal Krishan, Sub Insp. Balinder Kumar, Sub Insp. Manzoor Ahmed, Sub Insp. Gurmeet Singh, Sub Insp. Sukhdev Singh, Sub Insp. Rounak Singh, Sub Insp. Sham Lal, and Sub Insp. Balwant Singh. These officers were promoted from the rank of ASI (Assistant Sub Inspector) to the rank of SI (Sub Inspector).
The promoted officers were decorated with their new ranks by SSP Kathua Sh. Shobhit Saksena IPS, while Addl. SP Kathua Sh. Rahul Charak JKPS and DySP Hqrs Kathua Sh. Ravinder Singh were also present at the occasion and expressed happiness over their promotion.
On the occasion, SSP Kathua congratulated the newly promoted officers and their families and advised them to continue their work with more enthusiasm and the highest degree of dedication.
During the colorful ceremony, the newly promoted officers expressed their gratitude towards the police department for conferring their next rank and timely upgradation. They also pledged to work with the same zeal and enthusiasm.
