Two drug peddlers arrested with heroin

Continuing its efforts against drug menace, Police team of PS Rajbagh under the overall supervision of SSP Kathua Sh. Shobhit Saksena -IPS recovered approx. 118.16 grams of Heroin (Chitta) like narcotics in the jurisdictional area of PS Rajbagh, 02 drug peddlers arrested. On 22-02-2025, acting on the intelligent input received through a reliable source, a Police team of PS Rajbagh under the guidance of SDPO Border & SHO PS Rajbagh laid down a special naka/ checking in its jurisdictional area at NHW Rajbagh and apprehended two persons namely Alam Deen S/o Gulab Deen R/o Gehri Mandi and Mohd. Ali S/o Lt. Sadiq Ali R/o Khojala Batala who were having 118.16 grams of heroin like substance in their possession. The recovered contraband alongwith vehicle used in commission of crime was seized and accused persons were taken into police custody on spot. In this connection, further investigation is in progress vide FIR No. 38/2025 U/S 8/21/22/NDPS Act, PS Rajbagh.
