THEFT CASE SOLVED BY POLICE TEAM OF PP NAGRI; 01 THEFT MOTORCYCLE RECOVERED;01 PERSON ARRESTED ALONGWITH 04 MORE MOTORCYCLES SEIZED U/S 106/BNSS.

In continuation to a drive launched by J&K Police Kathua against the thieves/vehicle lifters operating in this district Kathua Police under the overall supervision of SSP Kathua Sh. Shobhit Saksena IPS has solved a theft case by recovering 01 motorcycle, one person arrested alongwith recovered 04 more vehicles(motorcycles) which were seized U/S 106/BNSS.

On 21/02/2025 a case has been registered at PS Kathua regarding theft of a motorcycle bearing Reg. No. PB 35V-2684. Following a thorough investigation, the police team led by IC PP Nagri PSI Ravinder Thakur under the guidance of DySP Hqrs Kathua Sh. Ravinder Singh & SHO PS Kathua Insp. Sandeep Chib arrested one suspect namely Bir Mohd S/o Shamasdin resident of Magar Khad, Tehsil Kathua.

Upon interrogation, the accused disclosed the location of the stolen motorcycle, bearing registration number PB35V-2684.

Additionally, four other motorcycles without registration numbers were also recovered. All the 04  recovered vehicles(Motorcycles without any Reg. no.) were seized under Section 106 BNSS.
