Bilawar: The Indian Army organized a volleyball tournament on Wednesday at Government Middle School, Mandli. Players from seven different schools participated in the competition.
The first match was between Government Middle School, Ludera, and Bharatiya Vidya Mandir, Mandli, in which Bharatiya Vidya Mandir, Mandli, emerged victorious. The second match was between Government Middle School, Dramani, and Upper Primary School, Durung, with Dramani's team winning the game.
The first semifinal match was played between Bharatiya Vidya Mandir, Mandli, and Government Middle School, Dramani, where Bharatiya Vidya Mandir, Mandli, won. The second semifinal match was between Government Middle School, Mandli, and Bharatiya Vidya Mandir, Dadwara, where Bharatiya Vidya Mandir, Dadwara, emerged as the winner.
The final match was played between Sant Bal Yogeshwar Bharatiya Vidya Mandir, Dadwara, and Bharatiya Vidya Mandir, Mandli, in which Sant Bal Yogeshwar's team won the tournament. Bharatiya Vidya Mandir, Mandli, was the runner-up, while Government Middle School, Dramani, secured third place.
The Indian Army honored the first, second, and third place teams with trophies and medals. Additionally, all seven participating teams were provided with volleyballs, nets, and T-shirts by the Indian Army.
The event was graced by the presence of military officials from Army Camp Rampur, including Captain Brijraj Singh and former Sarpanch of Mandli Panchayat, retired Captain Om Prakash.
