Kathua , 22/02/2025 Saturday – The SCERT in Collaboration with DIET Basholi has successfully concluded its 5 Days workshop on Inclusive Education today, reinforcing the commitment to fostering an accessible and equitable learning environment for all students. The workshop, attended by lecturers, masters and teachers focused on implementing strategies to support diverse learning needs and promote inclusivity in schools.
During the closing ceremony, keynote speaker emphasized the importance of inclusive education in breaking barriers and ensuring equal opportunities for students with disabilities, learning differences, and diverse backgrounds. Sessions covered a range of topics, including adaptive teaching methodologies, assistive technology, and policy frameworks that enhance inclusive practices.

Teachers’Training SCERT Jammu , in his address highlighted the needs of the inclusive education and asked everyone to be more committed towards this sensitive issue. He highlighted, how SCERT is working day in and day out to ensure the right to education for all under the supervision of Worthy Director SCERT, Dr Parikashat Singh Manhas and Joint Director Jammu Division Prof. Sindhu Kapoor.
Participants engaged in interactive discussions, hands-on activities, and case studies that provided practical approaches to addressing challenges in inclusive classrooms. The workshop also highlighted success stories from institutions that have successfully integrated inclusive practices.
As the workshop concluded, participants pledged to advocate for inclusive education within their respective institutions. The event culminated with a declaration outlining actionable steps toward more inclusive policies, teacher training programs, and community involvement in fostering an inclusive learning culture.
