Army organised a Veterinary and Medical Camp at Duggan

Duggan, Kathua (J&K) 16 Feb 2025. The Indian Army under Rising Star Corps organised a Veterinary and Medical Camp at Duggan village, in Kathua district of Jammu and Kashmir. 



During the Veterinary and Medical Camp, genuine medical requirements of the people were addressed. 
Free medical advice and medicines were provided to the attendees from remote villages. Army Doctors and nursing assistants provided treatment to all patients hailing from far flung area with adequate medical facilities.
 A civil doctor (General Physician) and civil nurses were also present on the occasion. The Medical Camp witnessed an overwhelming response from locals and around 65  Males, 185  Females, 85  Childrens & 125  Livestock from surrounding villages availed the medical benefits. 
The villagers appreciated the efforts of the Indian Army for their selfless endeavor in uplifting the health of the local population and Livestock. 

Acknowledging the noble step taken by the Indian Army the villages demanded that such medical camps should be organised in the village on regular basis.
