APPROX. 16.14 GRAMS OF HEROIN (CHITTA) LIKE NARCOTICS RECOVERED BY POLICE TEAM OF PP INDUSTRIAL ESTATE HATLI, 01 DRUG PEDDLER ARRESTED.
KATHUA; 14 Feb: Continuing its efforts against drug menace, Police team of PP Hatli under the overall supervision of SSP Kathua Sh. Shobhit Saksena -IPS recovered approx. 16.14 grams of Heroin (Chitta) like narcotics in the jurisdictional area of PP Industrial Estates Kathua, 01 drug peddler arrested.
On 13-02-2025, acting on the intelligent input received through a reliable source, a Police team led by IC PP Industrial Estates Kathua PSI Shubham Mahajan under the guidance of Addl. SP Kathua Sh. Rahul Charak-JKPS, DySP Hqrs Kathua Sh. Manjeet Singh
& SHO PS Kathua laid down a special naka/ checking near Hatli Morh and apprehended one person namely Yasir Hussain S/o Mohd. Yousaf R/o Jagatpur Tehsil and District Kathua who was having 16.14 grams of heroin like substance in his possession. The recovered contraband was seized and the accused person was taken into police custody on spot. In this connection, further investigation is in progress vide FIR No. 71/2025 U/S 8/21/22/NDPS Act registered at PS Kathua.
Kathua Police again requested people of the area to come forward and share information about any such illicit activity with Police for the cause. Your identity will be kept confidential.
