APPROX. 10 GRAMS OF HEROIN (CHITTA) LIKE NARCOTICS RECOVERED BY POLICE TEAM OF PP NAGRI ; 01 DRUG PEDDLER ARRESTED.
KATHUA; 04 FEB; Continuing its efforts against drug menace, Police team of PP Nagri under the overall supervision of *SSP Kathua Sh. Shobhit Saxena -IPS* recovered approx. 10 grams of Heroin (Chitta) like narcotics in the jurisdictional area of PP Nagri, 01 drug peddler arrested.
On 04-02-2025, acting on the intelligent input received through a reliable source, a Police team led by IC PP Nagri PSI Ravinder Singh under the guidance of Addl. SP Kathua Sh. Rahul Charak-JKPS, DySP Hqrs Kathua & SHO PS Kathua laid down a special naka/ checking in its jurisdictional area and apprehended one person namely Anil Kumar S/o Sukhdev Raj R/o Chak Drab Khan Tehsil and District Kathua who was having 10 grams of heroin like substance in his possession. The recovered contraband was seized and accused person was taken into police custody on spot. In this connection, further investigation is in progress vide FIR No. 58/2025 U/S 8/21/22NDPS Act, PS Kathua.
