Executive Director RK Chaudhary inspects Sewa-II PS

Regional Executive Director (Technical) of NHPC Limited Shri R. K. Choudhary (soon to be promoted as Director (Technical) today visited Sewa-II Power Station Mashka (Jammu & Kashmir) and inspected the ongoing works at the power station in view of the outbreak of floods in the areas of Northern parts of India. He enquired about the Monsoon preparedness of the power station and the challenges of energy generation under difficult and critital climatic conditions. He was accorded a traditional welcome by the Head of Power Station, Shri Madan Lal, General Manager (I/C) and Shri JSP Kesari, General Manager (Civil) in the presence of all officers and employees.

Shri Madan Lal gave a detailed tour of various components of the power station to the worthy Executive Director and elaborated on the hard work of officers and staff members in the operation & maintenance works especially in various difficult conditions created by the monsoon fury. This was the first ever visit of the Executive Director to Sewa-II PS and he was appreciative of the upkeep works and urged all the officers & staff members to work for the welfare of local people and take them along through various CSR interventions and personal interactions.
