KATHUA; 15 JULY;A security review meeting was held at conference Hall DPL Kathua today in which threadbare discussions were made regarding overall security arranagements adopted for the upcoming Shri Amarnathji Yatra (SANJY)2023.The meeting was chaired by the DIG JSK Range Sh. Shakti Kumar Pathak-IPS accompanied by SSP Kathua Sh. Shivdeep Singh Jamwal JKPS alongwith Addl. SP Kathua Sh. Paramjeet Singh JKPS, officers of security agencies(CRPF, CISF & BSF) and attended by all police gazetted officers and SHO's of Kathua District as well as officials from various security and Intelligence agencies to discuss the management of the pilgrimage and emergency response plans. DIG JSK Range Jammu emphasized the importance of coordination among all agencies involved in ensuring a smooth and incident-free yatra.During the meeting issues raised by gazetted officers were addressed by the chairing Officer in which he stressed the need for proper coordination among all agencies involved in their respective district and area of responsibility.
He asked the Officers to step up vigil and security in the Kathua District to check any attempt of infiltration, movement of Anti-National Elements(ANE's) and forestall any ill-conceived plan of terrorists.
All the nakas deployed on border roads, NH-44 and other interior highways be put on high alert round the clock and directed the officers in maintaining Peace and tranquillity in the area and hope for the peaceful conduct of Shri Amarnathji Yatra SANJY-2023.
