DDC CHAIRMAN COL. MAHAN SINGH (RETD.)KICK STARTED BLACK TOPPING OF MAHANPUR-BASOHLI ROAD.

Mahanpur/Basohli : Col (Retd.) Mahan Singh, Chairperson DDC Kathua today alongwith Sh Tajinder Goldy & PWD EE Basohli R&B Division  Sh Rajesh Sumbria, kickstarted blacking topping work of badly diplated Mahanpur to Basohli Road. About a dozen sarpanches n BJP workers in large number were present on the occasion. The exuberant karyakartas distributed sweets on the occasion and shouted slogan "Bharat Mata Ki Jai".

    Col Mahan Singh said " an amount of 70 lakes has been sanctioned for repair of said 32 KM long  road and overall an amount of 2 crore has been allotted in Basohli Division comprising Basohli  Billawar, Bani under pot-hole-free roads scheme.  He thanked Dr Jitendra Singh  MoS PMO for sanctioning these funds and also informed the gathering that a case is already pending with Union Ministery of Road Transport and Highways for 2 laning of Lakhanpur- Mahanpur-Basohli Road and same is being followed by the office of Dr Jitendra Singh, and decision on the same is awaited soon.
