Ward No. 8 Draman, Basohli declared red zones as COVID-19 cases rise

- 17 positive cases found in NHPC Colony, Mashka

29th March 2021- Ward No. 8 of Draman Panchayat in Basohli sub division of Kathua district has been declared 'red zone' by the authorities. During medical investigation, 17 No. of positive cases were found in NHPC's Mashka Colony on Monday. 

A fresh surge has been seen in cases in the last one week wherein the total active cases in the district are 41 now. Declaring red zone in the sub division, ADC Basohli Tilak Raj Thapa ordered that already issued standard operating procedure (SOP) would apply to the red zone village Ward No. 8 Draman which would remain under strict lockdown and tight perimeter control, except for essential needs.
