Kathua Update Bureau, Kathua:
NSS Units of GDC boys Kathua Celebrated Teacher's day on the birth anniversary of Shri. Sarv Palli Radha Krishnan who was a great teacher and first Vice President of India. He was a role model and inspiration for others. Volunteers celebrated teacher's day by presenting well decorated greeting cards to the Principal and Head of the Department and staff members of different teaching department of GDC, Kathua. Volunteers also distributed sweets to the Principal and staff members of the College.
The worthy Principal of the College Shri. Assa Ram Sharma ji addressed the students and motivated them to follow the teachings of Shri Sarv Palli Radha Krishnan ji. Later on students also participated in traffic awareness move organized by all Jammu & Kashmir ladakh teachers federation and took pledge there "Say no to drugs and obey all trafficrules honestly". Volunteers also distributed pamphlets among the students and people who were violating traffic rules. The whole activity was conducted under the supervision of NSS Programme Officers Prof. Manmohan Singh and Prof. Ritu Kumar Sharma.
